![]() Students’ behaviour, both in lessons and around the school, is very good. Lessons are well planned and paced so that students are engaged in their learning. Teaching is good and sometimes outstanding. The standards they attain in English, mathematics, science and a range of other subjects are at, or above, the national average. We pride ourselves on our caring reputation and are committed to continually developing our academic culture and ethos of respect, responsibility, resilience and safety for all of our community. Our challenging curriculum is strengthened by a broad range of enrichment opportunities which allows each learner to develop their own personal interests and academic potential. We strive for our vision through students being challenged by remarkable teachers that inspire learners with the love of their subjects and whom encourage curiosity. When students move onto the next exciting stage we want them to be well prepared for life in the 21st Century. The Bulmershe School is a vibrant, diverse and inclusive community where we want students to be happy, self-confident and ambitious thinkers. There are also around 200 pupils enrolled in the sixth form. The community school was established in 1964 and at present, has around 1051 students on the roll. ![]() It is a non-denominational establishment that educates girls and boys aged between 11 and 19. ![]() The Bulmershe is a secondary school with a sixth form, situated in the town of Woodley, in Wokingham. ![]()
